The Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw summarized the work of the Round Table for Climate Education. The Conference of Rectors of Warsaw Universities (KRUW) presented its position supporting climate education.

Universal and systemic climate education is of key importance for raising awareness of climate change and the possibility of counteracting the negative effects of human impact on the environment.

The rectors called “for the introduction in Poland of universal, reliable and comprehensive climate education at all levels of education”.

It was emphasized that the implementation of this goal requires close, partnership and constructive cooperation between government institutions, local governments, trade unions, non-governmental and international organizations, political groups, youth, parents as well as the scientific and academic community.

“We would like to express our readiness to undertake this cooperation with all entities expressing such a will”, declare the rectors of Warsaw universities.
