Researcher of the University of Wrocław once again joins the board of the EU network Urban Experts Research Alliance

Prof. Aldona Wiktorska-Święcka, Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław has once again become a member of the board of the EU Urban Experts Research Alliance (UERA) network.

UERA is an expert body of the European Commission established within the JPI Urban Europe network, composed of representatives of the governments of the European Union Member States responsible for research, development and regional and urban policy, as well as European expert institutions dealing with EU urban development issues. The network’s mission is to provide expert knowledge to decision-makers at European, national, regional and local levels.

The University of Wrocław has been a formal member of UERA since 2019. It is the first Polish university to formally represent Poland in this network. Additionally, it is one of the few members of UERA representing Central and Eastern Europe among several dozen organizations.
