Researchers of the West Pomeranian University of Technology receive PLN 4.5 million under the Leader program

The National Center for Research and Development appreciated the projects of scientists of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin. Thanks to the funding under the Lider program, the scientists will be able to create safer painkillers, self-adhesive silicone adhesives and vegan snacks and drinks.

Dr Eng. Łukasz Łopusiewicz will work on the development of innovative bioactive fermented vegan food products from selected wastes after pressing oil seeds available on the Polish market, and Dr Eng. Paula Ossowicz will focus on developing technologies for obtaining new modifications of painkillers with increased skin permeability.

Dr Eng. Adrian Antosik will test self-adhesive silicone glues for special applications. Innovative adhesives will be made on the basis of commercial silicone resins. The funding for research by Szczecin scientists obtained under the Lider program amounts to a total of PLN 4.5 million.
