Scientists of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza to work out the AntyFakeNews project

15.10.2021

Scientists of the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza and ITD24 are starting work on the AntyFakeNews project – a system to protect users against false information on the web. This is the first project of this type in Poland.

The main assumption of the project is to create an ICT tool that will warn people using various websites against potentially dangerous fake news content. The solution will also allow them to present actual content with a scientific basis that relates to false information, based on proven and reliable sources.

Scientists will build a model describing the cause-and-effect relationships related to the potential threat of fake news content. Researchers believe that the system will allow for a broader view of reality and will enable everyone to develop their own view of everyday life, as well as looking into the future based on their own conclusions.
