A team of University of Wrocław students comprising Krzysztof Boryczka, Antoni Buraczewski and Łukasz Pluta won the bronze medal in the first-ever European Team Programming Championships.

The competition was held last weekend at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Nearly 60 teams from the best and most well-known European universities participated, selected on the basis of the results of regional competitions. The team from Warsaw won.

“Our team solved 8 out of 11 tasks during the five-hour competition, but we did it a little slower than the teams that took places 2-4”, emphasise the young computer scientists from the University of Wrocław, who will take part in the 2024 World Championships in Team Programming in Astana, Kazakhstan, in September.

In three weeks, another team of Wrocław students comprising Anadi Agrawal, Adam Górkiewicz and Łukasz Pluta will take part in the 2023 World Team Programming Championships to be held in Luxor, Egypt.
