Scientists from the Wrocław University of Technology have won 10 medals at the International Fair of Inventions and Innovation INTARG 2018 in Katowice.

The gold medals were awarded for “New antistatic agents obtained from vegetable natural resources”; “New natural surfactants – safe and effective wood preservatives”; “Ionic liquids with a pharmacological component: the direction to obtain new bioproducts”; “The use of resonance in impact machines” and “Core drill for drilling in concrete” works.

Silver medals were received for inventions: “A mobile platform for a device to study the morphology of flat surfaces, especially concrete ones.” And “Natural antioxidant compounds produced from medicinal plants”. The bronze medals were awarded for the projects: “Non-contact quality control of plates in motion using ultrasonic Lamba waves”, “Innovative hydraulic bumper” and ” Agent for making epoxy resin coatings and its application”.
