The University of Opole (UO) has been awarded prestigious membership of the European University Association (EUA). The application process involved meeting certain criteria and presenting the university’s strategic goals and achievements.

The EUA is a respected organisation of higher education institutions from across Europe and one of the European Commission’s main partners in its dialogue with academic communities in Europe. The aim of the EUA is to foster cooperation between universities, promote innovation in education and represent the interests of universities internationally.

“We are delighted to be part of this respected community and are enthusiastic about joint projects with other member universities. As part of our EUA membership, we will strive to further develop our university and support modern, international research and education initiatives”, says UO Vice-Chancellor for Science, Prof. Jacek Lipok.
