Małgorzata Felińska, a third-year student at the Doctoral College of Sociology at the University of Wrocław, has joined the group of ambassadors of the “Archive Full of Memory” project of the Institute of National Remembrance. The project aims to preserve the memory of the fate of Poland and Poles in the last century.
The new ambassador is interested in biographical research, collective memory and the history and culture of displaced Borderlanders. She is the author of the monograph “From Borderlanders to Repatriates. Collective memory of the inhabitants of the Eastern Borderlands displaced to the Recovered Territories”; member of the Society of Lovers of Lwów (Lviv) and South-Eastern Borderlands; co-operates with the Wrocław Katyn Family, the Association of Persons Repressed by the Third Reich and the Siberian prisoners’ Association, Wrocław Branch.
Her dissertation deals with the cultural memory of the Borderlanders who made their way from the Eastern Borderlands to the Western and Northern Territories.
