The University in Zielona Góra will launch a Patent Center. The effect of its activities will be increasing the number of applications and patents obtained by scientists from the University of Zielona Góra. The project “University Patent Center” received funding under the program of the Minister of Education and Science “Science for Society”. The university received PLN 1.9 million for its implementation.
The aim is to increase the effectiveness of cooperation between scientists and the economic environment for the benefit of innovation and commercialization of research and development results, as well as disseminating knowledge about the relationship between science, innovation and economy using the human resources and infrastructure potential of the University of Zielona Góra.
A key element of the activities assumed in the project is to improve the skills of researchers in filing patent applications to the European Patent Office or patent offices outside Europe.
