Warsaw University of Technology to create a laboratory for aviation and autonomous systems

The Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) received PLN 40 million in subsidies from the European Union for the construction of a laboratory for aviation and autonomous systems. The facility will be built in Sieraków near Przasnysz. It will be ready in the middle of this year. It will be part of the Aviation Research Center, which has been constructed since the fall of last year.

The total value of the investment will exceed PLN 60 million.

Apart from the laboratory in Sieraków, WUT will build the second material and sensory technology laboratory in the Chemical Building on the WUT campus in Warsaw.

Dr Eng. Wojciech Wróbel, Dean of the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University of Technology explaines, that it is a project that invests in equipment and devices and creates conditions for advanced research together with industrial partners.
