Two female PhD students and a female veterinary student from the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław are participating in this year’s TopMinds mentoring programme. All three winners hope that working with mentors will help them find answers to the challenges they face.

Aleksandra Zimmer is in her third year at the Doctoral School. The topic of her PhD is the influence of raw material and solution pretreatment on the physicochemical properties and kinetics of osmotic dehydration and drying of garlic.

Marta Klemens started working on her PhD at the Doctoral School in October – in the Department of Food Chemistry and Biocatalysis. She is researching drying as a method of shaping the quality of raw herbal material.

Zuzanna Czekaj is a fifth-year veterinary student. She is the president of the International Veterinary Students’ Association’s Committee for Veterinary Education, president of the Faculty Council and a board member of several scientific circles.
