In July, Warsaw University of Life Sciences to launch the construction of the Innovative Center for Nutrition Sciences

Rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Prof. Michał Zasada has signed a contract with Skanska for the construction of the Innovative Center for Nutrition Sciences (ICNŻ). 

ICNŻ, as a leading scientific, didactic and implementation institution, will implement the idea of ​​a holistic approach to the science of human nutrition. It will deal with the development of research results that will be used in solving nutritional and health problems of Polish society. The Center will also comprehensively educate professionals in the field of human nutrition, dietetics, health protection, and food design that meets the highest quality and safety standards.

The key task of the Center will be to improve the health situation of various population groups of Poles by reducing the scale of diseases resulting from improper diet.

Skanska will start work at the beginning of July 2020 and during 18 months it will build a laboratory and educational facility with technical facilities and accompanying infrastructure.

The value of the investment is PLN 60 million, of which PLN 40 million is subsidized from the budget of the Ministry of Science.
