Lodz University of Technology successfully applies for European funding for research programmes

The Technical University of Lodz (Politechnika Łódzka) has so far submitted 44 applications in the new budget perspective for 2021-2027, of which 10 projects have received funding and eight more are awaiting evaluation.

Subsidy agreements have already been signed for four projects under Horizon Europe. In the case of another two, agreements will be concluded in the near future. 

Two projects under Horizon Europe and one under the LIFE programme are coordinated by the University. Its success rate of applications is 27.8%, which is much higher than the average of applicants across the EU of 10.53%.

The rector of the Łódź University of Technology, Prof Krzysztof Jóźwik, and the vice-rector for science, Prof Łukasz Albrecht, met with the coordinators of new international research projects carried out at the Łódź University of Technology and presented them with commemorative diplomas, emphasising that involvement in international research projects provides a number of benefits and opportunities for cooperation, as well as a contribution to creating an economy based on knowledge and innovation.
