Experts from Germany and Poland will jointly conduct research on new materials and hybrid constructions. The agreement on the establishment of the Polish-German Center for Hybrid Lightweight Structures was signed in Gliwice.
The agreement was concluded by Silesian University of Technology, city of Gliwice, Katowice Special Economic Zone, Federation of Aviation Firms “Bielsko” Institute of Light Engineering and Technology Polymer Technical University in Dresden, as well as Technical University Bergakademie in Freiberg.
Cooperation between representatives of science, industry and self-government from Poland is to help in the development of modern technologies for the design of lightweight constructions. The creation of the center is a response to the expectations of modern industry regarding the development of innovative material technologies and the rapid commercialization of research results.
