Dr Ewa Pejcz from the Department of Biotechnology and Food Analysis at the Faculty of Production Engineering at Wrocław University of Economics (UEW) has received research funding in the 14th edition of the LIDER Programme organised by the National Centre for Research and Development.
Dr Ewa Pejcz’s project concerns the development of a new method of assessing food quality based on analysis of its chemical and microbiological composition. The aim of the project is to create a tool that will enable rapid and accurate identification of food products and their potential threats to consumer health.
This is an excellent achievement for a young researcher at the Wrocław university. In addition, UEW is the only university of economics to have received funding in this competition.
